Brought up in Asbestos, Quebec, Jan Conn now lives in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and works as a professor of Biomedical Sciences. She is the author of six previous books of poetry, including Jaguar Rain: the Margaret Mee Poems. Her latest collection is Botero's Beautiful Horses, lyrical poems based in Latin America, Canada and even Mars.
