“Moving Pictures” Project

With a grant from the federal government’s New Horizons for Seniors program, during the Fall of 2015 and Winter of 2016 we conducted a project called “Moving Pictures: Moving histories out of the attic and into the public.”  The project engaged seniors in digitizing old-format movies – e.g. Super 8, 16mm and VHS – and collaborating on a public show at the Library during Nuit blanche à Montréal 2016.

On October 5, 2015 Eric Craven and Montreal filmmaker Karl Lemieux conducted a kickoff session at the Library.
