Poetry Project: Meredith Quartermain, April 13th 2006
Meredith Quartermain is the author of a number of books, including A Thousand Mornings (2002) and Highway 99 (2003). She is the founder of a literary website called The News as well as the small literary press Nomados. In 1983 she was commissioned to write a history of York House School, thus beginning her exploration of Vancouver archival materials and pioneer narratives. Her latest collection, Vancouver Walking, came out in Spring 2005 from NeWest Press and has been shortlisted for the Dorothy Livesay Poetry Prize. She lives in Vancouver.
