Outdoor Return Slot

Members may return books and other library materials at any time through a slot in the lower part of the Tupper Street oak door.

Book Sale Room

The Library offers a wide selection of good used books for sale at its Book Sale Room. We have paperback, soft cover and hard cover books at very reasonable prices. Located on the lower level and staffed by volunteers, the book room is open Wednesday through Saturday from noon to 3:00P.M. There are also periodic book sales which are advertised in advance. All proceeds go towards new acquisitions for the library's permanent collection.

Book and DVD Donations

The Library gladly accepts donations of new and used books and DVDs that are in good condition, with the following exceptions: encyclopedias, text books, computer books, and National Geographics.  Donations can be dropped off at the Library any time that we are open or pickup can be arranged. Call Gail O'Hagan at 514-935-7344 for information.

Membership

There is a modest annual membership fee to take books out of the Library. Library members can borrow up to eight items at a time.  Books and audio cassettes are loaned for 14 days, and DVDs for seven days. Non-members are welcome to make use of the library's various collections on site. Library membership now also includes membership in the Computer Centre, which cuts in half computer time costs.
