JO-ANNE ELDER's Bio

JO-ANNE ELDER is a writer, literary translator, the editor of ellipse and the director of the Side by Side literary translation festival. She has translated a dozen books of poetry, fiction and theatre from Acadie and Québec, including Herménégilde Chiasson's Climates and Conversations, both shortlisted for the Atlantic Poetry Prize. She has also been nominated three times for the Governor General’s award.
