Library’s Windows are being Conserved

We are partway through the process of conserving the windows in our 1919 heritage building. In late 2016 and 2017, the exterior of our main-floor arched windows and upstairs windows on three facades were done. The $400,000 cost was covered half by generous private donors and half by Parks Canada’s National cost-sharing program for heritage places.

Once the exterior windows are completed, we hope to tackle repairs to the masonry. The necessary funding has yet to be raised.
