Johanna Skibsrud Bio

Johanna Skibsrud is the author of the 2010 Scotiabank Giller Prize winning novel, The Sentimentalists (Douglas and MacIntyre 2010), a collection of short fiction, This Will Be Difficult to Explain and other stories (Hamish Hamilton Canada 2011), and two collections of poetry, Late Nights With Wild Cowboys (Gaspereau 2008) and I Do Not Think that I Could Love a Human Being (Gaspereau 2010).  Originally from Nova Scotia, Canada, Johanna currently lives in Tucson, Arizona where she is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Arizona and is working to complete a second novel.
