eBooks and Digital Audiobooks

The Atwater Library offers our members eBook and digital audiobook loans and we can serve people far from us, including members in rural and remote areas. We have a contract with the leading supplier of digital books and audiobooks to libraries in North America, OverDrive. For more information on our program, contact Roxann Fournier-Hoyt at rfhoyt@atwaterlibrary.ca.

To download eBooks and audiobooks you will need:

  • Your Atwater Library membership number which begins with M0 (the second digit is a zero)
  • Your e-Reader device (the Kindle is not compatible with Canadian libraries) or digital device
  • The USB cable or cord that connects your e-Reader to a computer (if needed)
  • A computer with free Adobe Digital Editions software installed and authorized (if needed)
