World Wide Knit in Public Day at the Atwater Library: We’re inviting knitters and crocheters to join expert knitter Arlene Lund at the Library to make brightly-coloured flowers for “yarn bombing” the big tree in front of our Atwater Avenue entrance. Help create a public work of art that will attract attention to our beautiful heritage building and all the fascinating activities that go on here. We will provide some wool, treats and prizes. Please bring any wool you can spare (bright colours preferred) and a folding lawn chair. Comfortable indoor space will be available for knitters who prefer to be inside.
