Courses, Workshops and Private Instruction

Our 2024 digital literacy courses and workshops are listed below. We conduct classes for small groups in our well-equipped and air-conditioned classroom which is accessible by elevator.

Discounts are available for a second course or workshop paid for within three months of the last class attended.

COURSES FOR BEGINNERS

COURSES TO DEVELOP SKILLS

Introduction to Excel – Four 2-hour sessions (8 hours)
MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS, August 5, 7, 12, 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm
Non-members $150, Members $140, Seniors $135
Learn to manage lists and track budgets.

Digital Storage, Photo and File Management – Two 2-hour sessions (4 hours total)
SATURDAYS, August 10 and 17 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
$85 for everyone
Explore the available options for backing up your information using various forms of digital storage. Learn helpful tips for using Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive and Dropbox.

DEVICE WORKSHOPS 

iPads & iPhones Level I – One 2-hour session
TUESDAY, August 6 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm
$75 for everyone
Learn basic functions, tips, and tricks for your Apple devices.

iPads & iPhones Level II – One 2-hour session
TUESDAY, August 13 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm
$75 for everyone
Explore the various “bells and whistles” your Apple devices have to offer.

Buying a Device – One 2-hour session
WEDNESDAY August 21 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
$75 for everyone
Inform yourself before buying a PC, laptop or tablet. 


Private instruction customized to your particular needs is also an option. The fee is $50 an hour.
